Lanta really did fantastic at the hunt test.  I wasn't able to watch her run as I was braced against her with Whiskey but from what I heard from the judges and others she was top dog that day with 5 bird finds of her own with very very nice solid points Lanta handled by her owner/trainer Steve Knudsen was Simply Awesome! [of course we knew that!]

Last but certainly not least Awesome's Wild RoseMary "Romey" picks up two points towards her Junior Hunt title to go with her other point [she needs just one more to finish].  Romey earned solid scores of 8's and 9's.  Handled by owner/trainer Mike Shaw.  Romey is the daughter of Sonny & Visa.

  It was his first club NSTRA trial but Carp's Awesome Sonic Boom finished 2nd overall out of 38 dogs.  We were all proud of him!!

Boom is owned & handled by Curt Carpenter and is the son of Sonny & Brandi

New Obedience Champion!  The Awesome Heidi McMahon CD - trained and handled by Dad John under the watchful eye of Mom Marion!  Heidi was high in trial and is in training for her CDX now!  She will be a year old in May and is the daughter of Sonny & Roxy.

After an incredible 7 minute hunt test (gotta be a world record!) Blu earns a 3rd leg towards his Junior Hunt Title.  In that 7 minutes Blu pointed through the flush 4 birds.  He was on fire on the range.  It was almost as if someone whispered in his ears (I put the birds right here).  -top-

5/1 - 5/2 Gus - owned/trained/handled by Thad Buchanan earned his Junior Hunt Title this week end in 4 grueling tests in one week end.  Test were held in Marshing Idaho put on by the GSP Club of Idaho and the Brittany Club of Northern Idaho.  Gus earned very respectable scores.  Gus "Int'l Ch. • 4/10 & 4/11 Awesome's Angela Cinco De Mayo places first with owner/handler Katherine  Cronyn at the Moses Lake Kennel Club Dog Show (9-12 month class).

  • Katherine also places 2nd Saturday (4/10) in Juniors and 1st Sunday!  Way to GO KATHERINE & GHETTI!
